Flevans manages to pull off the oldest of pop music tricks, his musical style being indescribably unique and yet also readily accessible. His DJ sets, just like his own productions, rip up music from any and all genres and periods of music with child-like glee. From folk to funk, from the 20s to the year 2000, Flevans' ear for a good tune transcends normal boundaries and expectations. Having played piano and double bass throughout his youth in a number of jazz and funk bands (as well as some “questionable” rock bands)
