Jayla Darden (born January 18, 1998) is an American R&B singer-songwriter, producer and recording engineer. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Darden spent a good chunk of her teenage years in Atlanta, before finally residing in Los Angeles after attending the SAE Institute to study audio engineering. In 2016, Jayla released her debut EP 118 on her 18th birthday, with each song on the 6-track project being self-penned and featuring production from herself and Henny Tha Bizness.
