Kim Petras is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. She first gained international attention due to her early gender transition and subsequent media coverage as a teenager. She released her debut EP, "One Piece of Tape", in 2011 and later worked as a songwriter for artists including Fergie, JoJo, Skylar Stecker, and Twice. Her debut single, "I Don't Want It at All", was released in August 2017, followed by "Heart to Break" in 2018, which reached number 52 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.
