Mo Thugs is an All-Star project. Many members who were close to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony were signed. In the summer of 1997, the group mourned the loss of Paul "Tombstone" O'Neil of the Graveyard Shift who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Cleveland. In 1999 their record label Relativity Records was bought by Loud Records at the time of sale. Layzie Bone resumed where his brother, Flesh-n-Bone, left off as the new Mo Thugs leader.
