Yosei Watanabe (born July 29, 1973), professionally known as m1dy, is a Japanese music producer and DJ renowned for his contributions to the speedcore genre. Watanabe began his musical journey in 1998 under the alias KAKUSEIKI THE MIDI ANARCHIST. In 2003, m1dy released his debut album, SPEEDCORE DANDY XXX, which showcased his unique blend of high-velocity beats and pop sensibilities. This distinctive sound quickly garnered him a following both in Japan and internationally.
