Arisa Ushimaru (Vo/Gt) and Gokkin (Ba) formed yonige in 2013, in the city of Neyagawa, Japan. Their Music Video for 2015 mini-album Coming Spring's lead track Avocado quickly surpassed 2 million views on YouTube, drawing attention to the band. yonige released their first full album, girls like girls, on September, 2017, through unBORDE, a Warner Music Japan label, marking their major debut. After their budokan live in 2019 followed by the release of their second major album 健全な社会 in 2020
